He serves as the program committee for various international conferences, including CEC, CIS, SMC, and SMCia. He was elected as the Outstanding Professor Award in 2014 and 2023. Valentina E. Balas is currently Full Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, “Aurel Vlaicu” University of Arad, Romania.She holds a Ph.D. in Applied Electronics and Telecommunications from Polytechnic University of Timisoara. Dr. Balas is author of more than 350 research papers. Her research interests are in Intelligent Systems, Fuzzy Control, Soft Computing.She is the Editor-in Chief to IJAIP and to IJCSysE, and is evaluator expert for national, international projects.Dr. Balas is the director of Intelligent Systems Research Centre in Aurel Vlaicu University of Arad and Director of the Department of International Relations.She served as General Chair of SOFA conferences in nine editions organized in the interval 2005-2020 and held in Romania and Hungary.

Yi-Zeng Hsieh (Senior Member, IEEE) received the B.S., M.S., and Ph.D. degrees in computer science and information engineering from National Central University, Taoyuan City, Taiwan, in 2004, 2006, and 2012, respectively. He is currently a Professor with the Department of Electrical Engineering, National Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Taipei, Taiwan. He has authored or coauthored more than 100 journal and refereed conference papers. His research interests include deep learning, machine learning, neural networks, pattern recognition, image processing, computer vision, and swarm intelligence. He is also a Senior Member of both the IEEE Consumer Technology Society and the IEEE Signal Processing Society. He was a Member of both IET Taipei Local Network and IET Japan Local Network. He was an Associate Editor for multiple IEEE Transactions. In 2023, he was recognized as an Outstanding Young Scholar by the IEEE Consumer Technology Society.

Dr. Han HUANG is a professor and doctoral supervisor in the School of Software Engineering, Sun Yat-sen University. He is currently serving as an associate editor of IEEE Transactions on Emerging Topics in Computational Intelligence and Complex & Intelligent Systems (IF: 6.5), and Deputy Director at the Key Laboratory of Big Data and Intelligent Robotics under the Ministry of Education, Director of the Software Engineering Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society. He is a Distinguished Member of CCF and a Senior Member of IEEE. Prof. Huang has received the National Excellent Teacher Award commemorating the 20th anniversary of the establishment of National Exemplary Software Schools. He has led over 20 national and provincial-level projects, including the National Natural Science Foundation Major Research Program, Key R&D Projects of the Ministry of Science and Technology, General Projects of the National Natural Science Foundation, and the Guangdong Outstanding Youth Fund. He has published three Chinese academic books and two textbooks with National First-Class Presses, as well as two English books with internationally renowned publishers.
